"I have the great pleasure of being the Patron of Radio Aire & Magic 828’s Cash for Kids. As a Yorkshire lad I am keen to support local children. All the money raised by Cash for Kids stays in Leeds & West Yorkshire which is really important. The children we help are sick, have special needs or living in real deprivation. We also help other local children’s charities too! I am really proud to be heavily involved in the Annual Christmas Appeal as its scary to think how many local children may not receive the Christmas they deserve. I often get the other guys from Emmerdale to get involved too, whether it’s a walk or football match – we are always up for the challenge!"

It is wonderful to have the great support from some of the big names in Leeds such as James Thornton himself and with his support Cash for Kids look forward to a record year raising more money than ever before.
