Every penny raised stays in Leeds & West Yorkshire. 96.3 Radio Aire & Magic 828's Cash for Kids support individual children, children from groups and children's charities where children are sick, deprived and in need of extra support. Cash for Kids do this by providing grants to individuals, other charities, groups, special schools and the health sector.

By supporting Cash for Kids you are supporting thousands of the most needy children in Leeds & West Yorkshire and every penny raised locally, stays in the local area to make a significant difference.

Cash for Kids is most well known for the Annual Christmas Appeal which is delivered every year to ensure that no child wakes up to nothing on Christmas Morning. 96.3 Radio Aire & Magic 828's Cash for Kids Christmas Appeal 2011 delivered over £335,000 worth of gifts to 10,170 local children in Leeds & West Yorkshire.

In 2011 96.3 Radio Aire & Magic 828's Cash for Kids raised over £669,000 supporting thousands of sick and deprived local children.

Cash for Kids supports both individual and other childrens charities/groups through Grant Applications which can be made to Cash for Kids. Grant Applications will be reviewed by the Cash for Kids Local Executive Board twice a year, although urgent applications will be reviewed as a matter of urgency - decisions are made on a case by case basis by the board. 

Grants must directly benefit the children but can often have a life enhancing effect on their whole family. Each applicant is treated equally and grants are only paid to, or through a charity, or the commodity is bought direct. All charities are checked via the Charity Commission.
